Howdy folks

Some of you may remember an issue we had here a couple of months ago
(first mail on 1 June 09) whereby no MS Office docs could be copied from
a document library's "Explorer view" on our production server, because
of a "parameter incorrect" type error.

We have - sort of - resolved the issue. It seems that disabling the "web
client" service on the client machines forces the system to use other
methods of copying the files, and the copy process then works correctly.

We're unsure how this situation arose, as well as being unsure as to
what other implications disabling this service might have, but it's a
start.

Kind regards

Nigel Hertz
