I had a similar issue a while back. From memory, I used the stsadm
command to migrate the user and did a full import in. Can't remember if
that's what fixed the issue or not....

Subject: Username issue

Hi All

I have an interesting issue with a username.

We use to have an employee, Rebecca Whatevername with the username
rwhatevername, she's left and now we have

A new employee Robert Whatevername, and his username is now
rwhatevername.

Problem: When using forms and I do a lookup for Rob, and click ok
Rebecca shows up in the form --> bad.

I went to delete Rebecca from the site collection, but it says it will
delete rwhatevername.

Will it delete Rebecca, Rob, or both?

How would you do it?

Kind Regards,

Marko Salonen
