Just did a search and am assuming that it is. Have you tried modifying the page by checking it out and using the Edit Properties screen instead?

From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Iain Carlin Sent: Thursday, 18 November 2010 3:43 PM To: ozMOSS Subject: Allowing user to edit single page in Pages library (MOSS 2007) My searching on Google has found other people with this problem but no solution. I have a site with a pages list. I have set up a user to have Contribute access to a specific page so that they can edit the page. They only have Read access to the pages list so that they cannot edit any other pages. The user sees the Site Actions button on that one page only, and can select Edit Page. However they are then put into shared edit view with a message on the page saying "You are editing the shared version of this page". There's no check in or publish buttons and when they click on Exit Edit Mode their changes are not saved. Anyone know how I fix this? Cheers, Iain Carlin
