I've not seen that problem so don't have anything useful to add. I did want to comment on the update though. I noticed a strange thing on my play dev machine yesterday. I had installed the Silverlight 5 beta stuff and was poking around with it a little to check out the new stuff. Yesterday I told it to make a new Silverlight project and didn't read the project window closely. It told me I needed to download the Silverlight developer runtime. Odd. so I did so, installed it and then realised it was the Silverlight 4 dev runtime. Create a new project and I only get the option to create a Silverlight 4 or 3 project. No 5.
So I'm scratching my head wondering if the recent updates have essentially uninstalled the Silverlight 5 beta? Or perhaps the update installed Silverlight 4, I chose accidently to make the new project Silverlight 4 and it was the developer runtime that removed Silverlight 5 beta. I'll have another look at the machine over the weekend (and most likely just reinstall beta 5), but was wondering if anyone else noticed their beta 5 dissapear? Sorry I can't give you any info regarding your issue. Hopefully it was an isolated case cheers, Stephen On Fri, Jun 17, 2011 at 12:25 PM, Simon Hammer < [email protected]> wrote: > Hi all,**** > > ** ** > > I have come across an issue on a handful of machines (have at least 3 > examples) where hitting a website containing a Silverlight object, the > object is not being displayed.
