It is very encouraging to see one more organization contributing to deploying and testing a P2PSIP protocol that has the benefits of free code, deployment experience, peer review and continued enhancements from various sources. This may or may not have been a requirement in the WG charter, but makes many of us comfortable the emerging P2PSIP standard may be based on all these benefits coming from cooperation in the IETF. Actually we are currently implementing the _peer_ prototype at the Univ. of Oulu. At the moment it is based on the older version of P2PP, and we are currently converting it to P2PP version -01. The next goal is the integration with Nokia's client version (which was demonstrated in CCNC) and Salman's new prototype implementation. -Erkki _______________________________________________ P2PSIP mailing list [email protected] https://www1.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/p2psip
