This isn't anyhow related to being a maintainer or not. /archive/ on GitHub
allows you to fetch whatever commit or tag you want. /archive/something.tgz and
/archive/something/filename.tgz are just two ways to get the same
auto-generated archive (with a different name) containing the repo at a given
commit/tag.
