Not at this point.. I asked the net-snmp folks on IRC about what we
*should* do and the answer was: rewrite all your regexp to handle both
cases (HEX-STRING and STRING variants). Of course I didn't like this
idea as we don't even have the switches to still test the new regular
expressions and because you guys found out others glitches to that
approach..

Because of the intrusive nature of the change I'm thinking about
switching the tail-like back-end of pfsetvlan maybe into a snmptrapd
perl extension but then again maybe not...

Now, we are focused on 3.0 (which won't have this fix) then we have a
large backlog of hardware to support so I might suggest you try to
modify the regexp in your own modules with what is mentioned in the
ticket (with additional fixes required that you guys found out about).

I'm sorry it's just not a priority for the time being.. but we'll get to
it don't worry.
