Oliver I just gave this a shot.
I am going todo some testing but it did not seem to resolve my issue... but
I am going todo some more extensive testing.
Here is a rundown of what I tried and my results, please excuse my poor
formatting.
I de-registered my laptop. Restarted PF.
Connected my laptop, opened Chrome pointed to yahoo.com
Authenticated to the captive portal, and the internet check failed. quickly
opened two tabs one to google.com and one to yahoo.com
Neither loaded.
Both these hosts seem to resolve to the PF, as pinging them resolved them
to 192.X ... however quick nslookup shows my productions dns server is
returning the proper IP. Chrome/Ping continued to not resolve these hosts
until I restarted pf, I waited about 2 minutes. (Shortly after I tried
these two hosts everything started working)
Thanks again,
Thomas
