Subject: [PacketFence-users] httpd processes getting zombified

We are moving into full production without PF server and starting to see some
slow response times in our web admin gui.

The server resources don't seem to be too taxed, my memory is only 50% utilized
and my disk is only 10%, and cpu is 0.4 0.3 0.3...

However when I check top I can see some zombified httpd processes whenever I
use the web gui, they go away after I close my session, but come back as soon
as I sign back in.

While Linux and servers are my playground, I don't even begin to pretend that I
understand the voodoo you guys call "The Web" ... HTML along with algebra is
the language of the devil.

How can I go about determining the cause of these defunct processes and also
finding out IF they are the cause of my slower response times in the gui? ...
or have I been inadvertently exposed to some type of controlled substance...
