Do you have the Openfusion (of) and PacketFence repositories active, either on
yum command (yum —enablerepo=PacketFence,of,epel …) or via "enabled=1" settings
in the repo files?

I'm playing around on a testbox as well and getting:

Error: Package: packetfence-4.1.0-1.el6.noarch (PacketFence)
           Requires: perl(Linux::Inotify2)
Error: Package: packetfence-4.1.0-1.el6.noarch (PacketFence)
           Requires: perl(File::Touch)
Error: Package: packetfence-4.1.0-1.el6.noarch (PacketFence)
           Requires: perl(Linux::FD)
 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
 You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Hi Fabrice,

Thanks for the speedy reply. Still no luck, however.

Works fine if I get the rpm from the link you provided and load it manually,
but yum still didn't work.

I'm upgrading one test box, and will then install PF fresh on another test
(setting up HA test), so I'll see how that goes later today

Hello Tim,
the rpm is there
http://inverse.ca/downloads/PacketFence/CentOS6/x86_64/RPMS/perl-Linux-FD-0.009-4.1.x86_64.rpm

Can you try:

yum makecache --enablerepo=PacketFence
and:
yum --enablerepo=Packetfence,of,epel upgrade packetfence

regards
Fabrice

The only perl-Linux-FD I found was an OpenSUSE package. Any chance it will be
appearing on openfusion soon, or am I missing something?

Thanks, as always,
