Hi Luca,
check the maillog of your system first and maybe install postfix and use
a relay host in postfix´s config.

after wlc integration I'm trying email registration for guest users.

parameters on the web page it returns "An error occurred when sending
the confirmation email". I looked up in pf logs but it doesn't help
