I saw that in the default configuration, but I overwrote it setting my relay 
server's IP address in the Alerting field. Do you think I have to configure 
postfix separately?

    Hi Luca,

      

      it´s more a mail issue than a PacketFence issue.

      By default PacketFence use 127.0.0.1 as mail server so be sure
      that from the system you are able to send an email.

      

      mail -v [email protected]

      

      and be sure that postfix is running and that you set
      
      relayhost = mail.relay.server in main.cf

            check the maillog of your system first and maybe install
            postfix and use a relay host in postfix´s config.
