Hello all,

We are currently experiencing two issues with PacketFence registrations at our 
site:


1.       No matter what the device type is, after a user registers their device 
in the captive portal, they are presented with an “Unable to detect network 
connectivity. Try restarting your web browser or opening a new tab to see if 
your access has been successfully enabled.” This error message is across the 
board, whether it’s iOS, Android, Windows, etc.

2.       If the device is an iOS device, we will need to constantly reboot or 
turn on/off Airplane mode multiple times before the registration goes into 
effect and the device’s VLAN is changed to the proper network.

Has anyone else seen or resolved these issues? Earlier in the semester it 
seemed to be sporadic. However, now it appears to be every iOS device that 
experiences both of these issues. I was able to confirm this on my own device, 
trying to register it multiple times for testing purposes.
