Hello Nicolas , By curiosity, I've copied the file SG300.pm in SG500.pm in the same folder. In this copied file, I have only changed "SG300" in "SG500". Once I restarted PF, I took the already configured switch on the web administration page and replaced the switch type from SG300 to SG500, and it kind work a little. I know it can't work perfectly, it's bad copy and past. However PF accepted the switch and authorized my device when authenticate with 802.1x but the switch still send me Access-Reject. My IP configuration haven't changed. By the way, I used the switch configuration has showed in the "Network Device configuration guide".

By using the > SG300 type, I've got the error "Switch is not managed by PacketFence". You should have an error in your configuration, review it. Check if you switch send the right IP you configured in PF. The SG300 should work with SG500 models. -- Nicolas Quiniou-Briand [email protected] :: +1.514.447.4918 *140 :: https://inverse.ca Inverse inc. :: Leaders behind SOGo (https://sogo.nu), PacketFence (https://packetfence.org) and Fingerbank (http://fingerbank.org) _______________________________________________ PacketFence-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/packetfence-users
