Hi,

I’ve got an issue with iPhone and out of band enforcement so I’m not sure the
issue is with packetfence or my Aruba access points. I’m fine with android
phones and windows laptops.

When an iPhone registers (or changes role) the COA request is sent to wireless
controller and appears to complete without error however the iPhone doesn’t
appear disconnect from the network. As such it doesn’t renew the dhcp lease
for the new network and consequently doesn’t have access.

I’ve tried setting the DHCP lease time to 45 seconds but this doesn’t appear to
work either. The iPhone stubbornly seems to cling to the dhcp lease.

I found this post (issue 2) for other captive portal products which appears to
describe the same issue.

Has anyone experiences this?

Thanks
