Hey,
this seems to be a bad combination as it leads to crashes in libavformat
in av_opt_next whenever something tries to play sounds.
There are already some user reports for it in the kodi forum.

Building against FFMPEG 2.6 which is the supported version by kodi fixes
this. BTW this is also true for your kodi 16.0 packages Sagi.
Olaf seems to me we need to get ffmpeg into a state where we can have
multiple versions installable side by side.
