Yes, now the program loads, thanks for the hints :-)

Oh, it is not a video editor! It will convert to mkv, but it will not allow me to remove the lead and tails of the TV recording, nor the commercials. Do you proposse to first convert to mkv, then run vidcutter on it? Conversion is very slow, I wanted to do without.
