Please don't do that. I absolutely advise against it, unless it's absolutely 
necessary.
The git story is terrible. It doesn't really work. For me as a packager, it 
offers absolutely no added value. It just seems to involve a lot more effort. 
There is no useful documentation. I tried it two or three times according to 
the documentation, but I kept getting error messages.
I don't understand the point of it at all.
