I had a look in Tools/Preferences but didn't see anything and then in the Advanced settings and still didn't see anything. There does appear to be a setting in scintilla to turn off the blinking: http://www.yellowbrain.com/stc/caret.html#setperiod if so desired, but it wouldn't appear to be something we have as a setting within Padre. If you can, please raise a ticket against Padre for this to be added, http://padre.perlide.org/trac. If you don't have access to trac, then let us know here and either myself or one of the other devs will raise the ticket for you. Peter.
