No worries, when we get this issue sorted out, you should be able to simply upgrade Padre with the cpan client that comes with Strawberry perl. Sure, it looks like a number of applications have to be set this way, as I said, Padre doesn't appear to have the setting available to configure itself, little own checks for environment settings.
