I hope we will be able to incorporate your suggestions but if you have time and tuits, the source code of the web site can be found here: http://svn.perlide.org/padre/trunk/template.padre.perlide.org/ > Until things free up enough for me to work on > porting Padre to cygwin, I keep monitoring the > developers list, checking the web site for > status changes or updates that make it easy > or compelling to try Padre again. What might be compelling to you is to be able to integrate the help system of PDL into the context sensitive help of Padre and to have the GUI based PDL-ish REPL. > As a contrast, PDL was developed as a tool for > researchers to use and we have to be careful to > maintain back compatibility so that users' code > will not break. Padre needs to be stable as in not crashing and having the features working. We also need to make sure the plugins keep working. Especially as I already heard from people who have their own in-house plug-ins. So we don't have almost full control over the plugins any more. thanks for your thoughts regards Gabor _______________________________________________ Padre-dev mailing list Padre-dev@perlide.org http://mail.perlide.org/mailman/listinfo/padre-dev
