Hi Everyone, Since we've agreed to release as a developers release, I will be branching this weekend with the intent to roll out the release to CPAN fairly early in the week, as I'm going away thursday and won't be back until later the following week.
Given that it's a developers release, does it make sense to release it as 0.86_01, or bump the current version as 0.84_01 and leave 0.86 as a full released version that's more stable? Seems to me that it should go out as 0.84_01. If this works out well enough, it might be something to do more often, rather than the full release version number and then warning that it's unstable. It would mean more frequent updates to what's on CPAN rather than what we have with this cycle where there's been a huge gap in the released versions while we/I work out whether it's stable enough to release.
