I am currently using Github for some things (not as large/community-oriented as Padre), and I am quite happy with it. I like their ticket system, it is really simple, though. You have issues, which can be open/closed. You can assign people to issues, as well as labels and milestones. Wiki integration -- I have no idea how Github compares to Trac feature-wise 2. svn -> git (do we want that?) 3. transfer of all/just the open tickets 4. Github is not free software ...
