ok.. i think this is a gcc problem.
i have updated the source code so that there should be no errors
with syntax, spelling etc. etc.
(the binary in the archive is NOT double buffered - that works fine)
http://www.hig.se/~ardiri/development/palmIII/index.html
can someone get it compiled using Code Warrior - and see if the
double buffering works.
when i compile the source code with gcc, the program runs, and
no double buffering occurs - but as soon as i exit the program,
i get a system crash. (requiring reset).
something to do with accessing an unallocated memory block,
which is strange, as i always check if the pointer to the
offscreen buffer is NULL.
if someone can send me a version of the .prc file, with
double buffering working using Code Warrior.. then i think
the GNU software team needs to evaluate the problem..
i tried to locate the GNU palm pilot home page, but could not
find it. i would love to look at the source to gcc - i think
they might be screwing up some of the graphics routines.
if code warrior was working on win98, then i am sure i would
switch environments as long as the compiler works.
cheers.
az.
