Ok everyone... I think that some of my recent statements were a little to
harsh, esp. after re-reading them in the replies... I am not a sue-happy
freak, so please don't get the wrong idea. I think the original post was
about some freeware app that was a blatant copy of someone else's original
app, which I think is lame, and probably could be illegal in some court's
eyes. I didn't mean to start such a long thread, but was just posting some
of my experiences and thoughts. When I make an app, I look at other things
that exist and try to come up with my own expression of the functionality,
and very much so don't ever copy anything exactly. that's just the way I
like to play it, and in my ideal world, everyone would try to be so
original. That way there's no conflicts.
