code pages and unicode

I am looking for info about code pages and unicode support in Palm
development,
but I couldn't find anything in Palm documents.
What kind of code pages/unicodes (US850, UTF-8/16, UCS-2/4 or whatever) are
used/supported by PalmOS (English, Germany, Janpanese version)? And what
library people use to convert them (I am using CW R5 on Windows)?
