that is the main Java webpage.
i am actually a self-trained Java programmer - Java is my life,
i teach it.. i consult with it.. it is a great language.
however, i dont see that it has a future on a PalmOS.
programs like PocketC, and the "interpreters" required on the
Palm already drive my crazy (need to install a LARGE interpreter)
i dont like the idea of having to install a large JVM just
to have Java on my pilot.
Java is based on C and C++.. so if you know Java, you should
know C. (and you can program C object orientatedly) - if you
know how!
stick with C.. dont make your users have to install an
add on program (like PocketC).. Palm == small..
just my 2c..
i love Java, but i dont see it has a future on the Palm.
(until there are 32Mb models out).
