I guess I got an answer to my question! I'm not interested in Java as a
programming sandpit. I'd like to use it for creating Palm apps that look and
run like Palm apps. I'm sure Sun and Palm together could create something
that works great, lives in ROM, supports Java prc's, form templates,
encapsulates the full Palm OS API etc. I've been using C for 8 years (mostly
with better tools than I have now) and I'd like to move on ...
