I agree. While I'm not an expert in copy protection schemes, I'd rather
pay a reasonable shareware fee and be done with it than use a
potentially virus-ridden pirated version. Just think, if they can crack
the copy-protection, God only knows what else they've done to the
program.

Besides, if the particular shareware is being constantly improved -
well, maybe not AS constantly as Loderunner - I want to know about new
versions without having to thumb through Pilotgear/Eurocool AND the
warez sites every day. It's just not worth my time.

I guess I'm not being really helpful in fighting the pirates, but I just
had to speak up. :-)
