I've run into something strange. On a mac, Sys 8.5, CodeWarrior R5. For new
projects, and ones that I used to work with regularly, whenever I start
CodeWarrior, I first get the following message in a console Window labeled
"Log for """:
Error starting process Code -39 (0xffffffd9)
Then, the debugger windows comes up. When I start the debugging session, a
blank/all white pane appears in the upper lefhand corner of the screen, and
the executing Mac program freezes. I can kill it off, so it's not crashing
my system.
The only thing major I've done since doing some serious development (it's
bee a few months) was install System 8.5. I tried throwing out the
preferences. Didn't help. I tried building a project from the Starter app,
same problem.
Has anyone seen this or have any suggestions as to what might be causing
the problem? I remember something like this happening a long time ago
(circa late R3, early R4), but I don't remember anything except the symptom.
