Very frequently (ten or so times per day) CodeWarrior (Mac) crashes,
followed shortly thereafter by the entire machine, due to what appears to be
corruption of the POSE document representing the saved Palm environment.
Typically, it starts with a bogus "Protection violation" error upon starting
a new debug session from CodeWarrior. Sometimes immediately killing the
debugger and retrying works, sometimes the crashes happen instead. Throwing
away the POSE session file and starting over is the only reliable way to
recover.
Has anybody else seen this? Is there a way to avoid it? Just FYI - I've
been using the Palm IIIx ROM image during this, and I haven't yet tried some
other ROM image.
