I'm using R5, but I don't think I've installed any patches (I could be wrong
though).  Here are the version numbers of the relevant pieces:

  CodeWarrior IDE 3.1 build 0135
  POSE 2.1d28
  ROM image: PalmIIIxDebug.rom, dated Dec. 3, 1998

Note that today I switched to using the Palm V ROM image, and in the course
of several hours of work, I experienced _no_ crashes.  Could be luck, could
be cause and effect.
