You know when I first read this I kinda chuckled at your misfortune.. :) but
as it turns out I just received the same email in response to my application
I sent in a couple of weeks ago (July 9th). Now this may sound strange but
this situation has really blown a vein for me, and in fact I had to calm down
a bit before writing this -- because I have never been this angry in my
entire life!

My "guess" is that I didn't fill in a "Prototype Site" blank which I honestly
didn't even see until I just printed the forms out again. Now the (7/20/99)
forms have instructions thankfully. So I'll assume that I didn't fill that
blank in, and now I have to mail these forms into Palm again. But what is
the deal with it taking 14 days just to tell me I missed a blank! Assuming
that's what happened, which I don't really know because all they sent was a
blanket email that doesn't tell me specifically what was wrong with my
application.

I don't mind filling in the forms again, heck I don't even mind admitting
that I screwed up. But can't we get a 24-72 hour turnaround on this stuff.
Two weeks (yes 14 days!) is ridiculous. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't
this just involve verifying the form and pushing a button to give me Pavilion
access?
