My apologies in advance for what must be a recurring question but ....

Is there an "approved" way to save screen memory (for example to be able to
save and restore a user's drawing)? Sources obtained from the web mostly
use the undocumented LSSA hardware register at 0xfffffa00 (which works OK
but to which Poser objects). An obvious alternative is the displayAddrV20
field in the window structure but the documentation suggests that this too
should not be used. I haven't been able to work out how to do it "properly"
despite a fair bit of combing through the API functions.

Grateful for any advice (even if it's only which part of "TFM" that I should
"R").

Regards,

Nick Hammond
