Yes and No.
Yes: You can use the WinSaveBits function ("Create an offscreen window and copy the
specified region from the draw window to the offscreen window") and WinRestoreBits
("Copy the contents of the specified window to the draw window and delete the passed
window.") to save off and restore a window.
No: You can't get at the actual screen bitmap without going thru the WinPtr
structure. Miraculously, POSER doesn't complain about this intrusion into the data
structures - for now. Who knows when that will change? Not me.
I believe Palm is aware of the issue of not being able to access the screen bitmap
directly, but I don't know of any impending "fixes" for it.
