Best as I can understand, Hacks don't tend
to have UIs, they intercept OS vectors and
do their thing "behind the scenes" as it
were. DAs are little apps w/ UIs that you
might want to run w/o leaving the current
app.
Admittedly, with things like SwitchHack
which return you to the app you left in
one stroke, the question of -why- you would
want that extra level of ... convenience? ...
rears it's head. I can, however, see the
benefit in some, such as the DA that reports
on memory usage.
