Hi, I'm original proposer of Desk Accessory(DA).Sorry for my poor English.
Why DA , not Hack?
If you use only 1 Hack,no problem at all. But if you use many Hacks, there'
s some problems
a) Many Hacks means many trap patching.
Many trap patching means slow execution speed and more confilicts.
If you use DA, only DA Launcher patch trap.
b) Confusing UI
I must drag from Menu icon to Home icon to invoke Hack A,
tap find icon twice to invoke Hack B and push 4 button at once to
Hack C and ...... Gee!!
DA Launcher gives user standard UI to select DA. It's easy to learn.
Also there's some DA Launcher which
Show DA list and User will tap to pick one
Show DA list and User will graffiti to select one
Assign DA to the hard button, user will push hard button
Assign DA to keyboard's Function key. user will push Function key
User can customize how to launch DA.
Of course DA is not intended to replace Hack. There's many programs
which only be made as Hack. but if you can make it as DA, User will
benefit much.
