now this is a very interesting point.
another thing, sure 3com will release a new grey API in the
future.. but will they be usable on earlier machines? probably
not.
this means that Palm Pilots etc, will NOT have the new API's
(unless there are updates).. so.. what does this mean to
developers? we cannot use an API if the hardware does not
support it..
i think writing device level API's (as the grayscale one)
is required.. as nothing 3com does about it will change what
is currently available on the earlier models.
