Hmmm.  Not sure there are many good reasons to do this.  Time zone data is
not much use unless it is related to where you are now.  The rest of the
country preferences such as currency format are more closely associated with
where you live.

For travellers, it would be nice to have an easy way to reset time for the
new country when you arrive but not if it changes the currency and date
formats as a side effect. Given the bizarre and frequently varying daylight
saving arrangements around the world, it might be best to leave this stuff
to specialist apps like City Time.
