I Agree with David. Since I primarily use Linux and AmigaOS for Palm
development, GCC is the 'best' development tool for _my_ purposes since
versions are available for both, while Codewarrior is obviously unusable -
the fact that I'm already familiar with GCC and related tools is a bonus.

GCC and Codewarrior both have their own pros and cons - the best advice is
to take a look at both, platform permitting, and decide for yourself. The
O'Reilly Palm Programming book contains a CD-ROM with GCC, Codewarrior 
Lite and Satellite Forms for Windows, and GCC for Linux - an ideal
starting point to decide which environment best fits your needs.
