For the '16-bit code reference...out of range' error, you might want to
check out the FAQ at http://www.metrowerks.com/pda/palm/faq/7.stm since it
explains this error and some common solutions.
My understanding is that only basic floating point operations are built-in
on the Palm OS. To use trig functions you will need to either implement them
yourself, or use a third party mathlib, such as, well, Mathlib. Check out
http://www.probe.net/~rhuebner/mathlib.html. for more info.
Someone else should be able to answer the bit about MIDI and sounds.
