HotLine is a program that is similar to ICQ, but it has a file
storage area it has distinct servers.. basically, it is a new
age ftp with chat facilities.

i did not list the patches :) but you know a patch for your
program exists now :> but seeing the latest patch is 2.53 and
done by "Toast".. i would expect that soon there will be a
key generator out there :>>
"Toast" is one of the best patchers.. i admire his efforts..
:)) so far he has been able to meet every one of my challenges.
he loves this stuff..
write better protection schemes.. so far, an unprotected application
takes around 5 minutes to patch.. my latest programs use encryption
of binary code.. and it took him 2 hours.. :> the next program i
release will take much more longer - i promised him that :) he
looks forward to it.
there are a number of techniques for protection.. and they were
discussed on this list earlier - so you might want to check the
archives. :>
basically, do checksums on your code.. prevent easy patching.. :>
Constantine Klyatskin had an interesting idea for pZip 1.2,
using a checksum as a jump table offset :> nice :)) but they
got that too.. BadToast (as he is known).. is really good! :>
