i have devised several techniques that make it "harder" for
crackers to patch my programs. anyone willing to get some
assistance in how to do so is open to asking me of my
  techniques.

however, the majority of people on this list see this:

    a) it is a non winning battle
-> i agree, but the task is to delay.. not prevent
          (thats impossible)

    b) it takes too much time
-> my techniques are complex, and require gcc to
work (maybe they can be adapted to CW) - you
also need a very good understanding of m68k
          aseembler.

if you REALLY want to know.. email me.. and i will be
able to explain the process.. but i have an assumption
that you wont use them anyhow (as they are very tedious)
3 weeks work for me, means they take +1 hour 50 mins
to crack.. i find THAT in itself amusing to myself :)
at least i make an effort.

i dont promote the warez sites, nor do i try to defend
them.. you can check the palmdevforum mailing lists and
find my "attack" at them.. why argue about it, at least
i am trying and fight the warez.

i know Constantine Klyatskin is in the same battle as i
am.. and we are proving to be somewhat affective.. maybe
they like cracking our software - as we provide them with
  a challenge.

it is our sacrafice to other developers.. the longer they
spend on our programs, the longer your programs can remain
  unpatched. :>

  think of it that way.
