It's not a matter of personal preference, but US Federal copyright law.
But that's another matter.
It seems that the intent of that message is to inform developers that
there are sites out there, and lets developers know if their applications
have been compromised. I think this is a very useful thing to have. You
can't just turn your head and pretend they don't exist.
I for one would like to see ALL of the warez sites posted here, or at
least somewhere. This lets us take the first step in stopping it. If we
can find out about new sites as fast as they can make them, it will make
it much harder on the pirates. It also a good idea to actually search for
them once in a while, once again, to keep yourself informed.
