If even the Palm people don't remember, no wonder that Palm Desktop is still
more or less at version 1.0 :-)

Here's how to put a button for an arbitrary application (need not be a
conduit) on the Palm Desktop. All you have to do is create a registry key
like

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S. Robotics\Pilot Desktop\ApplicationMyApp]
"Directory"="somewhere"
"Integrate"=dword:00000001
"Creator"=dword:43616c67
"NAME"="MyApp"
"Module"="C:\\Program Files\\MyApp\\MyApp.Exe"

Make sure you have a unique value as "Creator" because only one app per
Creator ID shows up. Of course, you need to restart Palm Desktop for the
button to appear.

I think it's possible to put your whole application into Palm Desktop, by
writing a DLL with the same interface as date20.dll, addr20.dll etc. Does
anybody know how to achieve *this*?

Regards,
Andreas
