Hello Mike,
If by "Palm desktop" you mean the main screen of the palm device,
absolutely yes. Palm programs that you or anybody else write and install
have a program icon which is listed in the "home" screen.
If by "Palm desktop" you mean the host/pc application that HotSync
exchanges data with by default, I haven't heard of that being done,
although I suppose its theoretically possible - you'd have to ask Palm
about that one.
