   It sounds to me like it would be much more useful from the
corporate side than from a single-developer end of things.  For
example, if Xyz corp. wants to release XyzDOC, XyzWriter and
XyzReader they can sell all 3 apps as a package and create their
own "Xyz" category to place the apps in.
   If all game developers started using the 'taic' resource then
people would just know that games get installed to the Games
category.  IMHO, it would be one of those things that just works,
just like a Palm.
   BTW, I wonder what happens when an installed app tries to
create a new category when there are already 15 categories.

   Maybe developers could go with Palm on this one, instead of
writing hacks to counteract every new feature they offer.  ;-)
