Palm OS 3.0, which appeared on Palm III devices.
When the Knowledgebase comes back up, there's a great paper called "Seeing
Gray" which will give you all the data you want on this topic. The 3.5 SDK
documentation should also cover this pretty well; I forget what detail the
previous SDK documentation had on it. Worth reading the docs anyway :-)
