Hi,
As far as I think the solution is to creat an interrupt patch. The
patch can be enabled or disabled from our setup program. Writting such a
setup program/patch is not a very difficult task, I have written many. The
setup program will allow the patch to be enabled without password but for
disabling it would ask for the password. The setup program would keep a
database which contains the enteries of time period during which it was
enabled or disabled (This is for the case when the user performs soft reset
and does not re-enable the program). The setup program will also patch the
sysTrapSysReset. In this way if the user perfoms the softreset then our
setup program will detect such a condition and instantly write down the
time of such condition (time at which the patch got disabled due to soft
reset).

Short comings in the program:
1. Such kind of interrupt patching program may give rise to conflicts.

Regards,
Khurram

That would be up to the author of HackMaster.

You could enable your hack, and then delete HackMaster. Your hack will
still be active, but after you delete HackMaster you will have no way
to disable it.

However, a soft reset would disable the hack, and since HackMaster is
no longer installed on the device, you have no way of enabling your
hack.

In summary, I don't think it is possible to guarantee that your
HackMaster hack is always enabled.
