The message:
"c:\\palm\Hotsyncd.exe does not contain debugging information. Please press OK
to continue"
is a normal VC++ message. It is telling you that there is no debugging
information (ie - symbol tables) in the HotSyncd executable. When you debug a
conduit, you are debugging a DLL loaded by HotSyncd. You do not need debugging
information in the HotSyncd executable to debug your DLL. You only need
debugging information for your DLL, which VC++ will generate for you. Just
ignore this particular message.
What happens after this message is more important.

Subject: Simple Conduit Debugging Question (I hope)
Hi All (thanks in advance)
I've created a couple of simple conduits before, so I know that my system is
basically set up correctly to produce conduits. My problem is debugging.
Basically it doesn't work. I'm using Visual C++ 5 and the latest Conduit
SDK. What happens is that I go to start the conduit through VC and I get
the message "c:\\palm\Hotsyncd.exe does not contain debugging information.
Please press OK to continue"
I can't imagine what I'm doing wrong. I'm following from a Palm Programming
textbook and following all the steps correctly. Anyone else have any
suggestions?
Ta.
